These Terms of Service („Terms“) govern your access to and use of the Newbie platform („we,“ „our,“ or „us“), operated by the Directorate of Labour in Iceland. By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms.
To access courses and features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
You agree to use the platform lawfully and respectfully. This includes interactions within courses, groups, private messages, and any other user-facing feature. You must not:
All course materials, videos, and site content are owned by Directorate of Labour in Iceland or licensed to us. You may access content for personal learning only. Do not copy, distribute, or sell any materials without permission.
We aim to provide uninterrupted access but do not guarantee the platform will always be available. We may update, suspend, or remove parts of the service at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform. You may also delete your account at any time.
The platform and its content are provided „as is.“ We do not make guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any course materials.
To the extent permitted by law, Vinnumálastofnun is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of the platform.
We may update these Terms as needed. If we make material changes, we will notify users at least 7 days in advance.
These Terms are governed by Icelandic law. Disputes will be resolved in Icelandic courts unless otherwise required by EU law.
